A Victorian Alphabet

I have been stitching this on and off for some time, it then stayed in a drawer for a couple of years waiting to be framed.  At last it is completed and I am quite pleased with the result.

Again stitched on white 32count linen and over two threads.  This one is staying with me.

for Hope with love

I stitched this sampler for my latest gradndaughter Hope.

It is stitched on white 32count linen and worked over two threads.  I much prefer stitching on linen to Aida, in my opinion Aida gives a less professional look but that is just me being pickey.

Moving house .....

.... or rather blog.  A nice new blog and hopefully a new lease of life.  Over the months I look forward to sharing with you tales of my granddaughters and my beautiful Westie.  We'll share my love of crafts (too many to list) and hopefully some challenges I share with my crafty friends.  For now a photo of 3 of my granddaughters and I look forward to some crafty posts really soon.
